Kishwaukee United Way Day of Caring, October 14
Kishwaukee United Way is sponsoring a Day of Caring, which begins with a kick-off rally at the Dekalb Farm Bureau at 9:00 a.m. on October 14. From there, participants will fan out across the community and complete service projects at various local non-profits.
Projects scheduled so far include: helping with Meals on Wheels, a bingo party for elderly residents of the DeKalb High-Rise, a food drive for Safe Passage, landscaping at Ben Gordon Community Mental Health Center, projects with the children at Sycamore Child Care, and many more.
